Senior Vice President – Energy Storage
After a Master in Economics and a post Master (DEA) in Industrial Strategy, Franck became a strategy, management and business development professional with 19 years of experience with positions based in Europe, Asia and Middle East within the Energy area with a strong focus on disruptive technologies and emerging markets.
With a team management experience across energy commodity markets and clean energy investments, business development and operation (electricity, gas, carbon, clean energy, smart meters, VPP and battery energy storage systems), Franck worked for energy majors, utilities and trading firms (such as EDF & EDF Trading, Masdar, Mercuria Energy Trading, Gazprom Marketing & Trading and AES).
With a European background followed by an extensive exposure to emerging markets (China, CIS, Vietnam, India, Middle East, Thailand, Africa and South America), Franck is now Senior Vice-President Energy Storage and VPP for Nippon Koei. Based in Singapore but covering world wide markets with a focus on SEA, Europe and North America.
Nippon Koei (NK), listed company in Japan with a turnover of ¥115,000m in 2018 (equivalent of 1,000m USD) with more than 4,900 employees, had during the last 72 years provided engineering consulting and EPC services to major energy players in Japan and abroad. NK now supports energy transition and sustainable development worldwide via investment in projects focused on new business models such as energy storage, micro grids and VPP.
