Customer Application Engineer for Energy Storage

Energy professional with 10 years of Technical project leadership experience in Electrical Design for Microgrids, Oil & Gas Captive Offshore Power Systems.
As a customer application engineer for Energy Storage her role involves working directly with the customer to address technical questions and project issues.
She acts as Proposal Technical Lead (ITO) for APAC, Australia and India and reviews customer contracts and specifications of Energy Storage projects and issues a technical proposal based on GEs energy storage offering with exceptions and special requirements clearly defined.
In short her customer facing roles and responsibilities include understanding customer use case (select best platform and estimate Degradation Rate, Efficiency, & Availability) and sizing the system, costing the system, and defining project requirements using relevant tools. This includes reviewing drawings, equipment specifications, system studies, and installation procedures.

Internally she works cross-functionally between Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Product Management and entire extended business team to deliver the desired outcome on Energy Storage Projects to the customer.
Prior to working with Energy Storage, she has worked in GE Grid Solutions as Oil & Gas and Industry Customer Application Engineer, in Kellogg Brown & Roots (KBR) Singapore and Samsung Heavy Industries (Korea) as Electrical Design Engineer.
Garima holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from IMT (Institute of Management) CDL, India and Bachelors in Technology from College of Engineering Roorkee, India
