Leo Wirawan leads Asia-Pacific energy market strategy and infrastructure initiatives for the Global Infrastructure group at Google. His work is focused on building a cost-effective, customer centric, energy strategy to support Google's portfolio of current and future data centers and related assets. This includes ensuring that the company can meet its commitment to source 100% renewable energy for its global operations, as well as working towards the “24/7 Carbon Free Energy by 2030” ambition.
Prior to Google, he held various positions and responsibilities with the common thread of focus area in energy value chain. His last position was the Head of Energy, Utilities, and Basic Chemicals Procurement for an integrated, multi-national chemical manufacturing company.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the NUS Business School (Singapore), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (B. Eng (Honours)) from the RMIT University, Australia.
