Akbar Sher Khan
Akbar always had a passion for agriculture spending a lot of his early childhood years learning about farming on his family farm. He went on to pursue a successful career as a corporate lawyer qualifying both in the UK and US. He completed his MBA from Imperial College Business School in London, where he was awarded the prize for the best entrepreneurial project. Subsequently, he co-founded Impagro Farming Solutions, a social enterprise which aims to develop village-level hubs that provide smallholder farmers with decentralised cold-chain and pre & post-harvest services. Equipped with his entrepreneurial spirit and zeal for sustainability his mission is to use innovation and technology to make an impact in Indian agriculture especially for smallholder farmers.
